Hunter & Mazzetti Vineyards Rose 2022 13.1% Alc/Vol 750ml

Hunter & Mazzetti Vineyards Rosé is a dry pink wine from the 2022 vintage, bottled at 13.1% alcohol. Rosé is made by giving red grapes only brief contact with their skins, which is where the colour stops and the tannin never really starts — the result is a red-fruit wine with a white wine's structure. This one reads crisp rather than sweet: strawberry and white peach on the nose, a palate of red berry, citrus pith and a little melon, and a clean, mineral finish. Serve it properly cold in a white wine glass, on its own or with salads, grilled shrimp and charcuterie.
