The whiskey rests in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-Malaga wine casks, then is married together, which is where the "Triple Triple" name comes from. That third cask, the fortified Malaga wine wood, is the twist that separates it from standard Jameson: it adds a raisined, floral sweetness on top of the usual vanilla and toffee. Bottled at 40% ABV, it's built for people who already like Jameson and want to see what a fuller cask program does to the profile.
