Jim Beam Black is the extra-aged expression of the Clermont, Kentucky distillery's flagship bourbon, matured a minimum of seven years compared to the standard four years of Jim Beam White Label. That extra time in new charred oak deepens the caramel and oak character considerably, giving Black Label a fuller, more robust profile while staying within the same accessible price range the Jim Beam name is built around. Expect bold caramel, vanilla, and oak with more spice and less raw grain than the entry-level bourbon.
