Mandarinello Liqueur 750 ml

Mandarinello is the mandarin cousin of limoncello, citrus peel steeped in neutral spirit, then sweetened and bottled bright orange. Where limoncello is sharp, mandarin brings a rounder, softer sweetness with a little of the pithy bitterness that comes off the peel. The nose is straight mandarin zest and orange blossom, the palate is sweet and syrupy with candied peel and a touch of vanilla, and the finish runs clean and short, more refreshing than cloying. Keep the bottle in the freezer and pour it into small chilled glasses after dinner, or lengthen it with prosecco and soda for an easy spritz.
