About this bottle

Martell VS Single Distillery is a young cognac from the oldest of the major cognac houses, founded in 1715. Unlike a standard VS blend sourced from multiple distillers, this bottling comes entirely from Martell's own distillery, giving the brand tighter control over the eaux-de-vie going into the blend. It's made mostly from Borderies and Fins Bois grapes, aged at least two years in French oak, and bottled at 40% ABV. Expect a light golden color with dried fruit, vanilla, and oak on the nose, and a smooth, approachable palate — a cognac built for accessibility rather than complexity.

How to drink Martell VS

It's a mixing cognac more than a sipper — try it in a Sidecar or a simple cognac and ginger ale. On the rocks with a twist of orange also works if you want it simple.
