Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial is the house's non-vintage brut rosé, here in limited-edition dress. It takes its colour and its red-fruit weight from a generous proportion of Pinot Noir, including still red wine blended in before bottling, which is the traditional Champagne route to rosé and the reason this drinks fuller than its pale pink glass suggests. Wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petal open the nose. Red currant and cherry follow on a dry, firmly structured palate, and the finish is crisp and berry-toned. Serve it cold in a tulip glass with charcuterie, salmon, or on its own before dinner.
