Oceano Azul Dragon D'oro Cognac XO 750ml

Oceano Azul Dragon d'Oro XO is a cognac presented in a sculpted dragon decanter, a bottle bought as much for the shelf as for the pour. XO is not a marketing word but a French designation: the youngest eau-de-vie in the blend must have spent at least ten years in oak, so there is real age sitting behind the theatre of the glass. Expect dried apricot, fig and candied orange on the nose, a rounded palate of toffee, baking spice and old leather, and a warm finish carrying oak and cocoa. Serve it neat in a tulip glass after dinner, or with one ice cube on a warm night.
