Pochteca Coffee Liquor 750 ml

Pochteca Coffee is a Mexican coffee liqueur, dark, sweet and roasted, made for the espresso martini and everything adjacent to it. Coffee liqueurs come down to whether the roast reads as real coffee or as flavoured syrup, and this one heads for the roasted, slightly bitter side of that line. The nose is dark roast coffee, cocoa and brown sugar, the palate is thick and sweet with espresso, chocolate and a touch of vanilla, and the finish is long, roasted and lightly bitter. Shake it with vodka and fresh espresso, pour it over ice cream, or float it into a coffee at the end of a long dinner.
