Pochteca Lime 750 ml

Pochteca Lime is a Mexican lime liqueur, sweetened and bottled to bring citrus into a drink without reaching for fresh juice every time. Lime liqueurs are a balancing act, since the sugar has to carry the zest without flattening the acid, and this one leans toward peel and oil rather than candied lime. The nose is lime zest and blossom, the palate is sweet and sharply citric with peel oil, a green herbal note and a clean tartness underneath, and the finish is crisp and short. Use it alongside tequila in a margarita, top it with soda over plenty of ice, or pour it cold and straight.
