Qvevri Wine Georgia Koncho&Co Nino Rose 750ml

Nino Rosé is Koncho & Co's dry pink wine, named for Saint Nino, the fourth-century missionary who Georgians credit with bringing Christianity to the country using a cross bound with grapevine. It is made in the modern way, with dark-skinned local grapes pressed off their skins early to keep the colour pale and the wine fresh. The nose is strawberry, pomegranate and white blossom, the palate is dry red berry and grapefruit with a lean mineral middle, and the finish is crisp and tart. Serve it thoroughly chilled as an aperitif, or with grilled vegetables, fresh cheeses and anything eaten outdoors.
