About this bottle
Tobermory 21 Year is a cask-strength single malt from the Isle of Mull's only distillery, given a finishing stretch in Manzanilla sherry casks — the driest, most coastal of sherries, matured by the sea at Sanlúcar. That pairing is the point: two decades of unpeated Hebridean spirit meets a cask that tastes of salt air. Expect orchard fruit and heather honey up front, almond and dried citrus through the middle, and a saline, gently nutty finish that keeps the sherry dry rather than sticky. Bottled at full cask strength, with the proof set by the parcel of casks. An island whisky for drinkers who like their sherry finishes with a sea breeze through them.
