Umano Rose Wine 750ml

Umano Rose is a Georgian rose, made in the dry, pale style that has become the default from Kakheti to Provence. Georgia's red grapes, Saperavi chief among them, give rose more color and more structure than most, so the wine tends to sit somewhere between a delicate pink and a light red in feel. The nose is strawberry, red currant and a little rose petal. The palate is dry and crisp, with watermelon, tart cherry and citrus acidity holding it together, and the finish is clean and short. Serve it thoroughly chilled as an aperitif, or with grilled vegetables, soft cheese and anything off a summer table.
