This barley-forward, Islay-grown 2011 vintage is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and French wine casks, layering peat smoke with fruit and spice from the wine influence. Expect a smoky, peaty nose with honey, vanilla, and citrus underneath, a full-bodied, smooth palate of smoke and oak, and a long, lingering finish. Bottled at 100 proof, it's built for peat lovers who also want the character single-estate Islay barley brings to the glass.
