About this bottle
Koch El Mezcal Artesanal Tobasiche is a mezcal made from 100% agave Tobasiche. It is produced in the small village of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is harvested from the wild and cooked in a traditional stone oven. It is then distilled in copper stills and aged in oak barrels for a minimum of six months. The result is a smooth and complex mezcal with notes of smoke, earth, and citrus. It suits sipping neat or in cocktails.
How to drink Koch El Mezcal Artesanal Tobasiche
Sip it neat in a small clay copita, the traditional way — wild Tobasiche agave mezcal is rare enough that mixing it would waste the point. Orange slices and sal de gusano make a good side if you have them.
